Das AD 2000-Regelwerk konkretisiert alle grundlegenden Sicherheitsanforderungen, die nach der europäischen Druckgeräterichtlinie (DGRL) beachtet werden müssen. Es erfüllt die Konformitätsanforderungen der DGRL und setzt aber darüber hinaus den hohen Qualitätsstandard des AD-Regelwerkes fort. Neben seiner Ausrichtung auf Qualität, Sicherheit und Konformität - mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen der Druckgeräte-Richtlinie - ist es vor allem die Klarheit in den Prüfaussagen, die das AD 2000-Regelwerk für den Anwender so wertvoll macht: Eindeutige Auslegungs-, Beurteilungs-, Prüf- und Dokumentationsanforderungen. Für die hohe Akzeptanz auch außerhalb Deutschlands sorgt, neben der übersichtlichen Struktur und den hohen Anforderungen an die Qualität der Druckgeräte, die in englischer Sprache erhältliche Fassung des Regelwerkes. Dem AD 2000-Regelwerk liegt eine langfristige Verbändevereinbarung von FDBR, DGUV, VCI, VDMA, VDEh, VGB Power Tech e. V. und VdTÜV zugrunde.

The AD 2000 Code specifies in detail – as does the DIN EN 13445 European Standards series – the legal requirements that have to be met to comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (97⁄ 23 ⁄ EC) – an indispensable tool and your entry ticket to the European market. The AD 2000 Code is published by VdTÜV.
