A Revista RBP é publicada trimestralmente em março, junho, setembro e dezembro, e tem por finalidade publicar trabalhos originais de todas as áreas da psiquiatria, com enfase nas áreas de saúde pública, epidemiologia clínica, ciências básicas e problemas de saúde mental relevantes em nosso meio. Além dos números regulares, a RBP publica dois suplementos anuais, voltados principalmente à atualização clínica.
A abreviatura de seu título é Rev. Bras. Psiquiatr., que deve ser usada em bibliografias, notas de rodapé e em referências e legendas bibliográficas.
Revista Brasileira de Psiquiatria, an official publication of the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry, publishes 6 issues per year, consisting of 4 regular editions and 2 thematic supplements.
The RBP Magazine is published quarterly on March, June, September and December.
